The Hart Project launched in Memory of Victoria to raise awareness on domestic abuse and gender-based violence

Asociación Hadas Caradas The Hart Project has been launched as a new awareness initiative and advocacy project dedicated to addressing domestic abuse and gender-based violence, and expanding support for survivors and victims. The Hart Project was created in memory Victoria Hart, a three-time mother who died in January 2026 due to gender violence. The tragedy of January 2026 shook Costa del Sol.

The project aims to bring the abuse realities out into the open, as they are often hidden away behind closed doors. This initiative, which combines education, community engagement and survivor-focused support with public awareness campaigns, aims to reduce stigma and encourage open dialog by reducing the stigma and connecting those affected to critical resources and supportive networks.

Worldwide, domestic abuse and gender-based violence affect millions of people regardless of their age, socioeconomic background or background. The Hart Project’s goal is to empower victims by reminding survivors that they aren’t alone and help is available. “Silence protects the abuse.” Awareness creates change,” said a spokesperson for Asociación Hadas Caradas. “The Hart Project” aims to amplify the voices and instill compassion in survivors.
Encourage communities to take action in prevention, healing, and protection.”

This initiative will include

  • Support, guidance and assistance for victims
  • Support initiatives and advocacy for survivors
  • Community Partnerships and Events
  • Resources to promote prevention, safety and recovery
  • Collaboration with organizations and advocates who work to end gender-based violence

The Hart Project calls on community leaders, individuals and institutions to create a safer environment where victims can be believed, supported and protected.

Asociación Hadas Caradas believes that meaningful change begins with education, empathy, and collective responsibility. The Hart Project aims to start conversations that will lead to action, and contribute to a world free of abuse and violence.
