T.A.P.A.S. Voices of Christmas – a triumphant show at Alhaurin Golf


The Andalucia Performing Arts Society, T.A.P.A.S. This sold-out performance of “Voices of Christmas”, held in the charming clubhouse of Alhaurin el Grande Golf and decorated festively, has been a triumphant evening.

The threefold purpose of the society was always to have fun, entertain and please the audience and raise money for a selected charity. It was brilliantly accomplished on Saturday 6th.

Lee Jay welcomed the audience with his exuberant energy and introduced Nick Handley and Eliza Handley. The well-known coastal duo got the party going with a few uplifting songs and audience participation. Ruth and Craig Norris followed with their “Naughty But Naughty” duo format.

The T.A.P.A.S. The T.A.P.A.S. James Burn’s original harmonies and creative arrangement are the highlight of the multi-national choir. The choir performed old and new favourites, as well as seasonal favorites.

The concert was the culmination of a successful holiday season that included performances in Coin and Mijas Town Halls.

T.A.P.A.S. ADSG (Alzheimer and Dementia Support Group), as the charity of T.A.P.A.S. An impressive raffle featured prizes worth €650, generously donated by local businesses. Thanks to the audience’s enthusiastic support, raffle ticket sales raised at least €750, all going directly to ADSG.

The choir’s second set was met with equal joy and enthusiasm before the evening concluded with a joyous sextet premiere of “All I Want For Christmas is Tunes”—a fresh, original medley of well-known hits, complete with audience participation in a hilarious “12 Days of Christmas”.

The choir thanked Jimmy Miller, Ruth Norris and Craig Norris for their memorable performance. Jacob Botha, Antonia Steahnke and Ami Loyd were also acknowledged.

The choir couldn’t help but join in with the jazzed-up version of “Feliz Navidad”, which left everyone in a festive spirit, wishing them all a Merry Christmas.
