The price of Butane Gas Cylinders is reviewed every 2 months. It has now fallen for a third consecutive year.  A 12.5kg cylinder of butane gas now costs €15.46 here on the Costa Del Sol.  The price has fallen by a mere 5%.

The bi-monthly revisions of prices are calculated The cost of shipping and the euro to dollar exchange rate are also included in the analysis of the raw material costs.

Butane Gas Use In Spain

In Spain, around 6 million households use butane gas Heating water and cooking.  Many people living in rural or outlying areas who do not have access to main gas supplies rely on this energy source.
