According to Good Travel Management’s latest study, Madrid has taken its nightlife global. Its 323 top-rated attractions stay open until the wee hours. This is 14.9% of the best attractions, ready to dazzle guests well into night. Imagine illuminated palaces and sunset walks across iconic bridges. Flamenco shows will have you dancing until dawn.
Nocturnism has exploded, with a 25% increase in 2024. If you want to experience the best in the world, Madrid is the place to be. Madrid’s evening scene has it all, from drinking cocktails on rooftop bars or catching an opera at night.

Not just Madrid. Spain is at the top of the list, and Barcelona makes the top 10 as well. Spain’s love for late nights is legendary – dinner starts after 9pm, and the fun doesn’t stop until the early hours.
Chicago is the top of the list, with 222 attractions that are open until midnight (less than Madrid but 15.9% more in terms of the total number of attractions). Madrid and Dublin follow in second place.
What makes Madrid’s nightlife so exciting? You can take sunset tours to the Almudena Cathedral and Segovia Bridge. They are all lit up beautifully as the city sleeps.
