A.R.C.H., the equine charitable organization in Alhaurin el Grande held their Autumn Festival, Sunday, October 12, with a vibrant celebration of community.
The venue was filled with excitement and energy from families of all nationalities and backgrounds. Many were accompanied by their children and dogs. Food stalls selling delicious homemade cakes and barbecue treats, as well as craft market stalls with their unique treasures, created a country fair atmosphere.

Many found the Fun Dog Show to be a highlight. Here, furry companions competed in titles and strutted under the amused glances of Sabrina Hope & Rocio ayala gutierrez who couldn’t contain their laughter.
A.R.C.H Autumn Festival attracted a multi-cultural audience
Throughout the day, entertainment was provided. Local Police Dog Units in Malaga, Alhaurin el Grande and other cities wowed the audience at 11.00am by displaying their incredible skills of drug detection. As the charismatic compere, DJ Lee Jay kept spirits up as a longtime supporter and fan of A.R.C.H.’s Spring and Fall Fests. Orla’s singing and Sasha’s operatic voice hypnotized festivalgoers. Miss Autumn added a touch glamour to the event by joining Orla on the microphone. This created a memorable moment. At 3.30pm the Grand Raffle Draw offered exciting prizes generously donated from sponsors such as Mediterranean Homes and other supporters.
Volunteers worked hard to get the centre ready. By the evening of the event, chairs and tables were sparkling, bunting decorated the grounds and food and drinks were ready. Gates opened to the public at 10am. Visitors were welcomed to browse the stalls and register their pets for the Fun Dog Show. They also had the opportunity meet the horses, donkeys and ponies cared for by A.R.C.H. Despite the packed schedule, everything went smoothly thanks to the enthusiasm of the community, and the dedication of volunteers.
Everyone who helped make the event successful was overwhelmed with gratitude. The day was made more joyful by the contributions of all, including the performers, judges, volunteers and sponsors. A.R.C.H welcomes everyone back to the Spring Fest and promises another unforgettable celebration.
