Four days and fifty activities. Nueva Andalucia’s Summer Fair is Back with a Blast for 2026

Marbella will be awash with water fights, Flamenco, and a fairground crowned ceremony as Nueva Andalucia’s annual fair returns from Thursday, 23rd July to Sunday, 26th July.

The celebration of a deep-rooted tradition in the family

Vanessa Ortiz de Zarate, councillor for the area, presented the programme this year. She called it one of the most anticipated dates in the region’s festive calendar. Activities and celebrations will take place at the La Caridad fairground, bringing neighbours, holidaymakers and anyone looking for some fun – four days of music, dance and activities. Manuel Blanquez created this year’s poster artwork. He was inspired by the beauty of Puerto Banus as well as the Andalucian cultural celebration.

Starting things off with a coronation

On the opening night of the fairground, the 23rd July, queens, kings, and their courts will be crowned. Juan de Lola is the local artist who delivers the opening address. This sets the mood for the following events. Eli Garcia’s academy, Duo Arenal and other dance groups and musical duos will perform to the audience.

The fairgrounds will now offer quiet hours for all attendees

The quiet hours will begin on Friday at 7pm. This is to allow visitors with sensory issues to enjoy and experience the fair. Duo Maverick will continue to perform into the night, followed by Duo Arenal.

The weekend is rounded off with water games on Saturday and the traditional festivities on Sunday.

The Nueva Andalucia Secondary School will host the Water Festival on Saturday. Local performers including the Virgen Maedre folk chorus and Los Calvin are scheduled to entertain throughout the day.

On Sundays (locally known as Rociero) the church service is held. On the rest of the day, the senior’s marquee is full of dancing and celebrations. Misses and Misters are also crowned. The final day of the festival also coincides with Children’s Day. Younger guests can enjoy a fun-filled day and take advantage of reduced prices on fairground attractions.

This local tradition is being maintained by volunteers, shopkeepers and neighborhood groups. The Marbella Townhall website has all the information you need, including timings and a complete list of programmes.
