Spanish mountain range named as’most beautiful in the World’

THE Picos de Europa is ranked as the most beautiful location in the world by a leading British magazine Time Out

The northern Spanish mountain range is the most spectacular destination and landscape on earth.

According to Time Out, Picos de Europa is ‘one of the most compact mountain ranges in the world’, ranking above iconic locations such as Komodo National Park in Indonesia, Portugal’s Douro Valley and California’s Big Sur.

Picos de Europa National Park stretches from Asturias to Cantabria to Castilla y Leon and has peaks that reach up to 2,650 metres. This is just a short drive away from the Cantabrian Coast.
