Twelve hours, four beaches, three sports. Manilva first beach sports day is here

Three sports in twelve hours. Four beaches. Manilva’s first beach sports event is here

On Saturday, May 30, Manilva’s beaches will be filled with sports lovers as its first ‘12 Horas Deportivas Playa’, a twelve-hour beach sports festival spreads across four locations. La Noria, El Cali, La Colonia and El Castillo.

What to expect at the event

Three exciting sports will be on show, Beach Football (Fútbol Playa), Beach Volleyball (Voley Playa) and Footvolley 2×2 (Fútvoley 2×2). Footvolley, a hybrid sport of volleyball and football played in the sand, is growing rapidly. The day will feature competitive action on all four beaches, with plenty to see.

Both young talent and seniors are involved in the action

The Beach Football and Footvolley 2×2 competitions feature youth categories from Under 8s through to Under 16s (Prebenjamín, Benjamín, Alevín, Infantil and Cadete), with up to eight teams per category and squads of ten players. In Beach Volleyball, there will be senior male and female competitors. Each category can have up to 16 teams.

Note down the dates for July next year.

See the Manilva Town Hall social media channels for full details of both events
