It will be one the most exciting adventures in 2026 for tourists.
It is predicted that Ronda’s Desfiladero Del Tajo will be as popular as Caminito Del Rey when it is finished in the early spring.
The Ronda attraction is more scenic than the death-defying walk near Antequera and will appeal to history buffs more.
The walkway will take tourists from one side to the other of the town, giving them a chance to view the breathtaking Tajo Gorge.

Visitors begin their journey in the historic old city, walking down the famous Puente Nuevo. They are then led along the gorge side and, finally, to the stunning Arabic baths.
The 750-metre long walkway will let visitors see up close the Guadalevin River, its sluice gate and flood prevention measures.
Visitors can already do half the route by descending from the Mirador de Maria Auxilidora, down 100 steps to the entrance, where you purchase tickets for €5 and get handed an audioguide in various languages.
You can now walk 250 meters to the foot the bridge that was completed in 1793.
The bridge is the largest and newest of three that spans the 120-metre (390-ft) deep chasm cut by the Guadalevin river.
Standing at the base of this massive 98m structure gives you a sense of its immense size.
The construction of the cathedral began in 1759, and it took 34 years to complete. It features three arches at the top and two giant pillars.
It’s an impressive stone construction and for two centuries it was the world’s highest bridge – and incredibly, it’s still open to traffic in both directions.
Above the central arch, there is a chamber that was used for torture during the Spanish Civil War.
Some unfortunate victims ended up being thrown through the window of the boat to the river or rocks below.
The Caminito del Rey is not a bridge that will cause vertigo for those who are afraid of heights.
The only requirement for visitors is to wear a hard hat due to the risk of rocks falling. However, there is a metal roofing to protect walkers.
The only danger you face is falling down the stairs while fiddling with your audio guide.
There are two stunning viewpoints at the end of the hike, where you can take some amazing pictures and enjoy the views before returning to town.
