‘She was happy and never bullied’: Father calls ‘suicides’ of two teens found hanging from trees in Andalucia ‘the perfect murder’

THE father of one of two teenage girls found dead in a suspected double suicide in Andalucia has cast doubt over the official hypothesis, instead suggesting that the deaths would be ‘the perfect murder’.

Rosmed and Sharit were hanging from a tree at Concordia Park in Jaen, in the early morning hours of Saturday after their families raised the alarm.

Police believe the two girls – both Spanish citizens with parents of Colombian origin – died by suicide with no visible signs of violence from a third party.

Alex, Sharit’s father, suggested that something more sinister might be going on. Canal SurIt was not a murder; it was a perfect suicide.

He denied that his daughter was being bullied, and added: “She wasn’t doing it consciously. She may have been deceived or manipulated.” But she never would have taken her own life. “We want to know the truth.”

Sharit’s mother told local media that ‘there is something strange’ about the deaths of the girls.

According to students at IES San Juan Bosco Jaen in Spain, at least one girl had been bullied.

“Rosmed was bullied at her former school [IES El Valle] “She was deeply affected and never recovered,” a friend said. El Pais.

This same friend claimed that Sharit, too, had been bullied.

Authorities have not yet confirmed if the deaths were linked to alleged bullying. A judicial investigation is currently being conducted under a gag rule.

Friends claim that the deaths are linked to an ex-classmate who killed himself with a gun in November last.

The Andalucian Ministry of Education confirmed Monday that Sharit, a student at a previous high school, had been subjected to a monitoring program for self-harm, while Rosmed, a student who has moved schools many times in the last two year, was also placed under the protocol.

Rosmed Sharit and their friends left together Friday afternoon, but didn’t return home as planned.

The girls’ parents, friends and family searched for them throughout the centre of the town before discovering their bodies dangling from a tree branch.

The Policia Nacional officers, local police, paramedics, and firefighters of the Jaen fire brigade all rushed to the site but were unable revive the two.

The girls were believed to have been dead at least two hours prior to their discovery.

According to parents, Sharit’s phone had a message from Rosmed saying she was going to take her own life – but doubts have been expressed about the authenticity of the texts.

Sharit, allegedly, responded by telling her boyfriend that their relationship had ended.

Jaen’s city council has declared a three-day official mourning period, which will last until Tuesday.

In 2024, 76 youngsters aged between 15 and 19-years-old took their own lives in Spain – a 20% increase compared with the previous year.
