Are you missing a traditional British christmas while on the Costa del Sol? These events are sure to bring back all of the festive fun and nostalgia you crave.

Christmas panto…Oh yes, it is

For panto lovers, the Salon Varietes Theatre in Fuengirola is presenting its spectacular pantomime, Jack & The Beanstalk. This annual pantomime, written by Nigel Holmes and directed Keith Spitalnick promises “Fee Fi Fo Fun for the Whole Family.”

Audiences can enjoy six performances from  December 19 to 23, with evening shows at 7:30 pm and Sunday matinees at 2 pm. From January 2 to 5, the festive fun will continue with matinees as well as evening performances. This production is great for the whole family, with traditional panto humour and dazzling choreography from Alexandra Avery. There are also plenty of interactive moments.

Deck the halls…with icing and cava

For those who prefer hands-on festive activities, iCafé Sotogrande is hosting an Adult Gingerbread House Workshop this Friday, December 5, from 7 pm to 9 pm. The participants will be able to enjoy a glass or two of cava as they create their gingerbread masterpieces. Priced at €40 per person, these workshops are ideal for creating a gorgeous edible table centre-piece and some unforgettable Christmas memories with friends. There are limited places available but they must be reserved in advance.
