ALICANTE ELCHE Airport has nearly surpassed last year’s total of passengers with two months left to spare.
Costa Blanca recorded its tenth consecutive record month of users. Just over 1.9 millions travellers visited the facility, with a third coming from the UK.
As of this date, 17.2 millions people have visited the airport. This compares to the total number of 18.3 in 2024, which is an increase by 8.3%.

The current trend suggests that there is a good chance of reaching the 20 million mark before December 31, particularly as new routes continue to be laid.
The October total increased by 5.9% over last year.
The trend of increasing international travellers and decreasing domestic travellers has continued this year.
The number of foreign passengers increased 7.3% in the last year, to reach 1.68 million, while the number of internal passengers fell by 4.5%, to 217,233.
In October, 631 771 passengers travelled from the United Kingdom.
Germany was next, with 130,127, then the Netherlands (118,996), Belgium (98,841), and Poland, a rising market, with 90,695 people.
This was the busiest month for flights ever, with 11,931 flights, an increase of 6.1%.
Alicante-Elche has maintained its fifth position among the busiest airports of Spain, behind Malaga (2.5 million passengers).
