The Official State Gazette (BOE), which is the official state gazette, has confirmed that this year Spain will switch to summertime.
On Sunday, March 30 at 2am (1am on the Canary Islands), clocks will be moved forward an hour.
This will allow for better daylight use by moving the time to 3am (or 2am on the Canary Islands).
Spain has a biannual clock adjustment, which is done in the autumn.
