Vital community fundraiser for Princess Lara the Cute at Restaurante Sierra de Águila

The Costa del Sol community is coming together to support one of its most inspiring young residents: Her Highness, Princess Lara the Cute. This brave little girl, who has captured hearts, lives with Beals Syndrome, a rare connective tissue disorder causing severe physical and developmental challenges, including brain malformations, mobility issues, respiratory complications, and a compromised immune system.

Child that has already gone through so much, needs your help

Lara has also triumphed over lymph cancer and underwent life-saving spinal surgery in Barcelona in 2021 to implant growth bars. She now needs additional procedures, including extending those bars and foot surgery, to ease pain, prevent damage, and improve her ability to bear weight and walk, procedures complicated by her high anaesthesia risks, often requiring combined operations.

Despite these hurdles, Lara radiates joy: she laughs, hugs tightly, rediscovers her voice in sweet moments, and brings light to her family and supporters. Led by her devoted mother, Stefanie Gracie, the family shares her triumphs and needs via the page and fundraising efforts like Teaming groups and past GoFundMe campaigns, covering therapies, aids, and treatments not fully met by public health systems.

Special charity luncheon at Restaurante Sierra de Águila with Ricky Lavazza, Emma, and Laura Elen

To help, a special charity luncheon fundraiser is set for Wednesday, February 4, at Restaurante Sierra de Águila, starting at 1pm. Enjoy a delightful three-course meal with wine, beer, or soft drinks for just €50 per head, plus live music from Ricky Lavazza, Laura Elen, and Emma Luisa. The afternoon features fantastic entertainment, a raffle, and an auction with exciting prizes.

All proceeds go directly to Lara’s medical care, therapies, and quality-of-life improvements. Spaces are limited; book as soon as possible by calling 627 164 168 or 951 741 990. Join neighbours in celebrating this resilient fighter’s spirit and making a meaningful difference through community kindness and generosity.
