A THREE YEAR OLD girl was killed in southern Spain Thursday after a fire ripped into her home.
At 5.15pm, firefighters were dispatched to Las Gabias village in Granada after receiving reports that a building was on fire on Calle San Jose.
A young couple and their three children (two, three, and four years old) live in a detached house.
The firefighters entered the building to rescue the mother, and at least one other child.
They later found the body of a three-year old girl.

Guardia Civil launched an investigation in order to identify the cause and determine how many people were inside the home at the moment.
According to reports, a victim’s sibling was injured by the fire.
According to local sources, the family had lived in Las Gabias a few weeks after moving there from Jaen. El Pais.
According to Javier Bravo, the town’s deputy mayor, the ground floor of the house is ‘completely burnt out’, while the upper floor has suffered ‘extensive damage’.
The town council of Las Gabias has declared today a day for mourning, and all planned activities have been suspended until the weekend.
