The IV Fiesta Criolla will take place at the magnificent Plaza de Toros from 30 October to 2 November.

The four-day festival, organized by the Argentine Association of Torremolinos, in collaboration with local officials, promises a full immersion experience of Argentine traditions, culture, and gastronomy. The event is open to all residents from 12pm until midnight every day.

Fiesta Criolla will transform the Plaza de Toros in a vibrant hub of Argentine culture. The Fiesta Criolla will transform the Plaza de Toros into a bustling hub of Argentine heritage. But the heart of this event is its meaty cuisine. A highlight of the festival is the traditional Argentinian Parilla BBQ, a delicious selection of meats smoked and grilled to perfection.

In addition to barbecue, stalls offer Argentine drinks, sweets, and other treats, giving a taste of South America’s rich gastronomic traditions. But I cannot make any promises to vegetarians.

The event will also be pulsing with the rhythms and dances of Argentina. The air will be filled with a hint of cowboy, as tango, cumbia and Argentine Rock performances fill the air. Attendees are invited to sway or just soak up the vibrant atmosphere. These cultural shows aim to capture Argentina’s spirit, offering a dynamic mixture of tradition and contemporary.

Since 2007, the Argentine Association of Torremolinos has been a major part of the local community. It participates in events such as the Jornadas del Residente, and supports other cultural organizations. The IV Fiesta Criolla demonstrates the integration of Argentines and their desire to share Argentinean culture with Torremolinos.
