There is a very special night of the blues coming up in Estepona as The Blue Stompers Jump Review teams up with special guest Tina Bednoff for a high-energy live performance at Huber Art & Food.
The concert begins at 8:30pm on Saturday, Jan. 31. Paul Stylianou’s harmonica will be heard in the intimate venue located on Calle San Antonio.
Since forming on the Costa del Sol in 2014, The Blue Stompers Jump Review has become a local institution. Led by frontman and harmonica player Paul Stylianou, the band delivers raw, foot-stomping rhythms inspired by 1950s Afro-American blues, jump blues, gritty R&B, and New Orleans flair. Fans praise their high-energy performances and commend them for their authentic sound. They’ve even recorded a live album at Huber Art & Food itself, capturing the magic of the venue’s cosy atmosphere.
Finnish blues rock powerhouse
Joining them is Finnish blues powerhouse and regular visitor to the Costa del Sol, Tina Bednoff, a renowned guitarist and singer best known for fronting Tina Bednoff & the Cocktailers. With roots in rockin’ rhythm & blues, pre-war Piedmont blues, gospel, hillbilly influences, and upbeat R&B, Bednoff brings fiery guitar work and soulful vocals to the stage. Jump Sister Jump includes tracks such as “Ding Dong Daddy”, which showcases her ability to create retro-inspired, danceable blues.
The Stompers describe her as a “great friend” of the band. Her appearance is sure to add excitement and a global twist.
This special collaboration is a must-see for those who love authentic blues music in an inviting setting. Entry is €20 (cash only, payable on the door). Table reservations can be made by calling 608-359-656 for prime seating.
Huber Art & Food, a beloved spot combining art, cuisine, and live performances, provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of soulful music and good vibes. If you are a blues lover or if this is your first time, Saturday night will be a fun, sweaty experience.
