Shocking moment TV cameras capture mass pile-up live

On Thursday afternoon, a LIVE newscast turned into a dramatic moment when TV cameras caught the moment an accident unfolded along a major road near Toledo.

On the A-5, near Talavera de la Reina heading towards Badajoz, an accident occurred. 

Despite the shocking scenes, reports from early on confirmed that there were no injuries.

The accident occurred just before 2:30pm Holy Thursday when a CMM Journalist was conducting a live reporting.

During the broadcast, a loud skid was heard that immediately attracted attention to the road.

One vehicle abruptly braked and caused traffic to be obstructed. 

A third car failed to respond in time, and crashed into the second car.

On screen, a few moments later, you can see several cars with emergency lights turned on.

David Martin, the cameraman who captured this moment of horror, has captured a car that crashed into another vehicle.

Many people got out of their vehicles to check on the victims.

The cause of this initial skid is not known.
