Perrock charity rock Festival returns to Fuengirola’s fair grounds

The much-loved 13th Festival Perrock returns on Sunday, Feb. 8, to Fuengirola, promising a full-day of high-energy, rock music and community spirit. It will also provide vital support for the local dog charities.

Organised by the Asociación Perrock, this annual charity event transforms the Recinto Ferial into a wild and crazy rock’n’roll hub for all the family for charity at the Caseta Diana, Caseta de los Andaluces, and surrounding outdoor areas. Live performances will be performed on two stages from 11am to around 8pm. Proceeds go towards animal welfare. All proceeds are given to the shelters who help abandoned and stray dogs along the Costa del Sol.

The 80ers, a band that brings back the 80s, will perform at 1pm. Tributo Rock Band will take the stage at 2pm to build momentum, before The Owlers perform their set at 3. The afternoon heats up at 4pm with Porn – a tribute to Korn, bringing nu-metal intensity – and the day closes strong with the amazing The Killer Rockets at 6pm.

There is plenty more to do at the festival than just listen to loud rock music. The festival will feature a variety of food and drink stands, including vegetarian options. A highlight is the extensive raffle featuring exciting prizes: musical instruments, restaurant dinners, sunglasses, tattoo sessions, vouchers, bottles of premium drinks, accessories, and much more—ensuring every participant has a chance to win while supporting the cause.

Entry is a donation of €1 or a sack of dry dog food, making it cheap and cheerful to enter for rock fans and animal lovers. This event is a local tradition that has been embraced by the Ayuntamiento of Fuengirola. It’s also celebrated for the positive impact it has on the furry residents. Don’t miss this feel-good Sunday of rock ‘n’ roll and good deeds on Sunday, February 8.
