Soft City, a Norwegian blues band with a lot of power and charisma, will be making a highly anticipated debut at Clarence in Torremolinos this Saturday. Following the release of Their second album, Such a Nice Guy the five-piece from Oslo promises a timeless evening of soul-drenched riffs. soaring vocals, and electric stage energy.

From Oslo to the World Stage

The band was formed in 2018 by a group of friends who share a love for classic blues, soul and jazz. Soft City They quickly became one of Scandinavia’s most exciting new acts. In 2021, they were selected to be a part of the Norwegian Blues Union Band during the legendary Notodden Blues Festival. And in 2023, they came second at the European Blues Challenge.

The band represented Norway at the 2023 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, and took the opportunity to play iconic clubs across Mississippi and Tennessee – earning rave reviews for their passionate performances and virtuoso musicianship.

Albums that have been critically acclaimed

Their 2022 debut, Settle for the Moon (Kirkelig Kulturverksted), received glowing reviews from major Norwegian outlets, including Dagens Næringsliv, Dagsavisen and Nævisen. Such a Nice Guy (released in 2025) has received praise from Nettavisen, a Norwegian publication, and other international publications such as Power Play, UK.
