According to the new restrictions imposed by the Community of Madrid officials, climbing is prohibited on certain routes within La Pedriza as well as access through the nearby points of entry until the 30th of July.

The restrictions were imposed to protect species like the golden eagle and peregrine, as well as species such a griffon, kestrel, and common kestrel, during their breeding season.
