Los Lobos headline Rockin’ Race Jamboree Torremolinos: Tickets almost sold out

The countdown has begun. From 4 to 8 February 2026, the Costa del Sol will once again become the rockabilly capital of Europe when the now legendary Rockin’ Race Jamboree as it returns for its 32nd edition. The festival always sells out weeks in advance, so don’t be left out by leaving it too late to book your tickets.

Lineup a who’s-who of roots, rockabilly and rhythm & blue

Organisers have just dropped a line-up that reads like a who’s-who of roots, rockabilly and rhythm & blues royalty. Topping the bill are East L.A. legends Los Lobos, making their long-awaited Jamboree debut, along with Boston’s explosive Barrence Whitfield with Los Mambo Jambo, Tex-Mex guitar hero Kid Ramos joined by his son Johnny, and the all-star Hoodoo Tones featuring Stray Cats’ Slim Jim Phantom, Danny B. Harvey and CW Wolf. Add in garage-surf pioneers The Untamed Youth, Spanish beat heroes Los Sirex, doo-wop icons Jay Siegel’s Tokens, and nearly forty more acts – from Cherry Casino & The Gamblers to The Hexxers and Velvet Candles – and it’s clear why this festival has been packing venues solid for three decades.

Rockin’ Race Jamboree set to take over Torremolinos

Spread across the Auditorio Príncipe de Asturias, the Hotel Pez Espada, Plaza del Remo and a host of late-night clubs in Torremolinos, the five-day extravaganza offers non-stop music from noon until the early hours, plus a huge record fair, classic car show, burlesque performances and the famous Rockin’ Race fashion contest.

But here’s the warning every regular already knows: Rockin’ Race Jamboree has sold out every single year since the 1990s. Full festival passes, currently priced at €135 for five days, disappear faster than a hot rod at a traffic light. Last year the final batch vanished in under 48 hours, leaving hundreds on a waiting list that rarely moved.

“This is the biggest line-up we’ve ever had,” said festival director Jorge Perales. “We’re expecting people from more than 30 countries. Anyone thinking ‘I’ll wait until January’ is going to be very disappointed.”

Global audience flying in from as far afield as Japan & US

With cheap winter flights to Malaga and a wide range of hotels still holding rooms for Jamboree week, there has never been a better time to book. But the message from veterans is unanimous: buy your pass now, book your accommodation immediately, or start planning for 2027. Rock ‘n’ Roll fanatics are already booked in from over 30 countries, including the US and Japan, so don’t miss out by leaving it too late.

Tickets are on sale exclusively at rockinrace.com. When they’re gone, they’re gone.

Rockin’ Race Jamboree 2026 – five days that will shake Torremolinos harder than a V8 on moonshine. Be there, or be the one telling the story next year about the festival you missed.
