Former employer confirms ex Valencia floods tsar faked university degree for job promotion

VALENCIA Provincial Council has confirmed that former Spanish Government Special Commissioner for the October 29, flood reconstruction provided a bogus copy of a university degree to obtain a better paid job.

Jose Maria Angel (68) is under investigation by Anti-Corruption Prosecutors over his University of Valencia Archival and Library Science degree which he used to gain promotions as a civil service employee for the Provincial Council during the 1980s.

The degree scandal led to his resignation as commissioner in late July.

It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. El Mundo According to a newspaper, Maria Angel has held various positions in the Provincial Council since 1987 That required a college degree.

Verification was presented as a copy of a diploma ‘without comparison or certification’ that has been shown to be totally fake.

After the legal case has concluded, the Council has requested that the Prosecutor certify the degree as fake in order to move forward with disciplinary actions.

The Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency described the copy of the diploma as a crude forged since, when the theoretically issued degree course was not even existing.

The course began in 1990, although the certification dates back to 1983.

He did need a college degree when he got promoted in August of that same year.
