CSN issues weather warnings in Andalucia, Valencia, and Ibiza due to storm Martinho. The winds are up to 70km/hr.

As Storm Martinho continues its impact, there have been a number of weather alerts issued this weekend for many parts of Spain.

Aemet, the state weather agency, has issued a yellow warning for large areas of Jaen and Almeria, as well as Granada, indicating winds up to 70km/h.

Warnings will be in effect until 6pm Saturday in Almeria, and include Valle del Almanzora and Los Velez. Also included are Campo de Tabernas and Nacimiento, Poniente and Almeria City.

In Granada and Jaen the zones under alert are Cazorla & Segura, and Guadix & Baza.

Aemet also warned that rough sea conditions could be expected on the coasts Almeria and Granada with waves up to 3 metres high.

Malaga and other western provinces were not placed on alert despite the strong winds that are blowing in Andalucia.

The Costa del Sol should remain dry, despite the cloudy skies and some localized showers.

Valencia’s inland is also under yellow alert due to 70km/hr wind speeds.

Ibiza is currently under a yellow alert for rough seas, which could bring waves up to 4 metres high.
