Choir and Orchestra of Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol present joyous Christmas concerts in Marbella & Fuengirola


Costa del Sol will ring in the holiday season with the return to the annual Christmas concerts, presented by the Choir & Orchestra of Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol. The “Joy of Christmas” concerts, under the musical direction of Delyth Brissington promise an evening of seasonal music featuring uplifting melodies and rhythms.

This year, the programme will be dominated by the lovely carols “Joy Has Dawned”, which provide a heartwarming basis for the concerts. Collegium Musicum will be delighted to welcome Geoffrey Silver back to its stage to bring even more sparkle to the concerts. Silver will join Collegium Musicum to perform two spectacular pieces, the Winter concerto of Vivaldi’s iconic “The Seasons” and the spectacular “Carmen Fantasia”, which is technically demanding.

This pair of concerts offers two different opportunities to experience the magic musical:

  • First performance This event takes place at the elegant IPV Palace & Spa Hotel Fuengirola. Tickets for this event are priced at €15, with complimentary entry for under 16’s. Tickets can be ordered in advance through the IPV Palace Hotel. Lepanto Café in Fuengirola Collegium Musicum (main street) or directly from its members. You can also purchase them at the door, starting at 7pm. Or you can email info@colmus.org.
  • Second concert The spectacular setting of the Church of the Encarnación in Marbella. The performance will benefit the charitable causes run by the church. Entry is free. However, a donation of any amount is requested at the end of the show.
