Christmas is near, and with it comes joy, laughter, friendship, and fun. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.

The air is filled with the aroma of roasted chestnuts on charcoal burners. Street decorations and store decor are all up. The people are so nicer!

Age Concern Marbella – San Pedro has two very special events coming up in December. We don’t wish for anyone to miss this opportunity, so we’re letting our community know now. Tickets for last year’s events were sold out quickly. If you plan to attend, book your tickets early.

Their first trip is to Malaga, where they will see the Christmas light displays on Thursday December 4. La Colonia will be leaving San Pedro around 4pm. The plan is to leave Malaga by 10pm. The capital has so many things to do and see. The light show will captivate you. Do some shopping, or even just window shop. Grab a bite or visit a nearby museum. It’s an amazing experience to sit outside and have heaters above you.

The cost of return transport to Malaga in our luxury coach is just €20 per person, and payment is required in advance. Simple payment methods. Go to their website, www.ageconcernmarbella.com, and use the Donate button. You can also pay in cash or with a Spanish card at our Community Centre, located in San Pedro. Due to high fees we regret not being able to accept non-Spanish card payments.

Bank transfer to Asociación Age Concern Marbella y San Pedro: IBAN ES15 0081 2097 6700 0125 3229 Banco Sabadell/Solbank CC Guadalmina.

Age Concern Marbella – San Pedro’s second Christmassy event is their traditional Christmas lunch at The Hogan Stand on the San Pedro Boulevard.  Date and time to be noted is December 11, 2018. Arrival 1pm and a sit down at 1.30pm

All guests will be seated at the appointed time. The 3-course menu offers a variety of choices. It also includes still/sparkling waters and a glass or wine. The menu can be found on their web page www.ageconcernmarbella.com.

You can expect fun, friends and a festive atmosphere. This Christmas lunch is not to be missed. It features entertainment by Brian Piccolo and Karen Danzig, the Del Sol Singers, and Karen Danzig. All this for just €40 per person. This price includes an Age Concern Marbella donation and a staff tip. The lunch will be followed with an auction, where Giles Brown, the radio personality everyone loves to listen to on the radio, will hold court.

The raffle will include many desirable prizes. Bring along anything you’d like to donate for a raffle prize. By attending, you will help raise money for a worthy cause. Age Concern Marbella – San Pedro have limited places, so please book early using their dedicated email lunches@ageconcernmarbella.com.
