Last weekend, the culmination of a four-day journey across Spain was a gala in Madrid. The final number on the check gave everyone something to celebrate.
Convoy for a Cause
Casino de Madrid hosted the closing gala of the Cash & Rocket Spain Tour 2026 on September 14, bringing fifty women and twenty-five red cars together in support of Global Gift Foundation. Actress and activist Eva Longoria, Global Gift founder Maria Bravo, Cash & Rocket founder Julie Brangstrup and soprano Angelica de la Riva led the evening, celebrating the end of a route that had set off from Marbella on September 10 and passed through Seville, Trujillo and Toledo on its way to the capital.
A record haul and a winning team
Elena Knezek and Jessica Davenport finished as the top fundraisers of the tour, bringing in an incredible £21,071.34 between them over the four days. Combined with everyone else’s efforts, the event pulled in a magnificent €130,951 for Global Gift Foundation, a figure showing how much can be achieved when participants throw themselves fully behind a shared cause.
Eva Longoria showed the power women have when they come together and work towards a common goal. She said: “These days have shown us what we can do when we join our voices, our energies, and our commitment to our cause.” The tour was a success because each woman took part in it and helped to transform the power of solidarity.
Brangstrup, who founded Cash & Rocket, said people’s generosity had left a lasting impression on her.
Star-studded evening of performances
Nieves Alvarez & Nick Ede hosted the gala. Carlos Baute & Angelica de la Riva provided live music throughout the night. Christie’s International Director Beatriz Odovas organized a charity auction, which included donated artworks by Jaime Monge & Sol Felpeto. The event was attended by many celebrities, including Princess Beatrice, Vicky Martin Berrocal and Jodie Kidd, as well as singer Conchita.

What will the money fund?
Cash & Rocket has run these tours since 2012, and every euro raised on this occasion goes straight to Global Gift Foundation. Donations will be used to support Casa Angeles, an orphanage and day centre in Marbella for children with special needs and Maria Bravo’s Casa Angeles Quang Chau project in Vietnam.
