Style and support, charity lunch for Afesol


Marbella’s marina is set for a stylish, uplifting afternoon of food, fashion and fundraising on Tuesday, April 29, as The Harbour Marbella hosts a charity lunch and fashion show in support of Afesol. Starting at 1pm, the pretty and popular port-side venue in the marina will be glamming up for a social occasion with purpose.

Tickets are €45, with €10 from each ticket donated to Afesol, and includes a two-course lunch and half a bottle of wine, plus a fashion show to enjoy. Designed to be an easy, feel-good day, to enjoy a delicious lunch while making a direct contribution to an important local charity at the same time.

A varied and interesting menu has been created for the day, with a choice of mouthwatering mains and dessert to choose from. 

Main course options

  • Tempura of lemon sole with teriyaki wok-fried vegetables, sweet chilli and ginger butter sauce
  • Marinated chicken breast with yoghurt and spices, mixed vegetables, red Thai curry sauce and jasmine rice
  • Aromatic sticky pork belly with sesame seeds, wok-fried noodles, baby corn, bok choi and teriyaki sauce
  • 12-hour slow-braised beef with wild mushroom, parmesan and truffle risotto
  • Wild mushroom and spinach cannelloni with roasted red pepper and sun-dried tomato sauce, finished with baked aged cheddar bechamel

Dessert options

  • Baileys cheesecake with roasted pecan ice cream
  • Apple and raisin crumble with vanilla ice cream and creme anglaise
  • Summer berry pavlova with vanilla cream
  • Marinated pineapple carpaccio with passion fruit and cinnamon ice cream

The event is sponsored by Brooklyn Fitboxing, a fun high energy fitness club in Marbella. By combining their support, along with the fashion show and food it’s the perfect afternoon out for a great cause. 

The charity works with families and individuals facing mental health issues

Afesol is a non-profit organisation supporting people living with mental health conditions and their families across Malaga province. The association works to improve quality of life through family support, social integration, and initiatives linked to training and employment, while also advocating for stronger mental health resources.
