Generali to sponsor Spanish tennis federation in 2026–2028 deal

Generali will become an official partner of the Real Federación Española de Tenis (RFET) under a new agreement covering the 2026-2028 cycle, marking a new step in its commitment to sport.

Generali has agreed to give the name of its men’s team, which will compete as the official title, to the national team. Selección Española GENERALI de Tenis, The partnership includes the women’s team, as well as a strong presence of the brand within the competition structure at the national level.

Spain has a long history of tennis dominance, having won six Davis Cup titles, five Billie Jean King Cups and more than Over 6,000 clubs and 15 courts, plus around 2 million recreational players, 100,000 federation licenses registered nationwide.

Generali will be the naming sponsor of La Pirámide by GeneraliThe RFET competition system is considered to be the largest tennis tournament in the world. The RFET includes more than 2,300 competitions, 220 international events and 85,000 players at all levels.

The insurer will be present at institutional events, regional initiatives, grassroots activations and other activities, with an emphasis on youth development, emerging talents, wheelchair tennis and beach tennis as well as training and officiating programs.

We can build the strongest tournament system in the world with Generali’s help, and ensure that all of our players are able to reach the highest levels. It is a sign of the future that Generali’s involvement in our Davis Cup team will continue. We are confident we can continue to grow together.

The agreement also includes official naming rights Selección Española GENERALI de Tenis in the men’s categories, prominent brand placement on official kits, including front-of-shirt visibility for the senior men’s team, and exposure at national and international competitions such as the Davis Cup, Billie Jean King Cup and the Campeonatos de España.

Generali has strengthened its commitment to sports, health, and human connections through this partnership. It is also reaffirming its presence within a space which brings together values, social development, and community. The collaboration will last for a year. until December 2028.
