The climate retains bringing pleasure to Andalusian spiritual brotherhoods and people having fun with their holidays within the area. The forecast for the second half of Holy Week signifies principally clear or sunny skies throughout the area, “apart from some intervals with mid- and high-level clouds on Maundy Thursday”.

In response to state meteorological company Aemet, there can even be a major rise in temperatures over the weekend, particularly in locations like Seville, the place most temperatures will attain 31C.

The wrongdoer behind this nearly summery climate? A subtropical ridge is about to reach in Spain, bringing a mass of milder air that can settle over Andalucía.

“The ultimate stretch of Holy Week, between Saturday, 4 April, and Monday, 6 April, can be accompanied by clear skies and an increase in temperatures, with greater than 25C within the south-west of mainland Spain,” Aemet says.

As much as 20C of distinction with minimal temperatures

The warmth can be notably noticeable within the Andalusian regional capital (Seville), with a “putting” rise in most temperatures.

“The mass of heat air that can settle over Spain (…) will result in temperatures extra typical of early June between Easter Sunday and Monday,” climate portal Meteored says.

In response to the forecast, the rise will begin from Wednesday, with temperatures between 27 and 30C in Seville. The warmest days can be Sunday and Monday, with 30-32C.

In the meantime, “minimal temperatures will vary between 10-14C,” Meteored says. Within the case of Seville, for instance, Aemet forecasts minimal temperatures of 11C and 7-9C in locations like Cordoba or Granada, which makes for a putting 20-degree distinction between minimal and most values.
