Torremolinos is hosting the Málaga Guitar Experience 2026 at the Príncipe de Asturias municipal auditorium from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 February. This free musical and cultural fair features a program that includes a major display of luthiers involved in the production of guitars.

This year’s festival features a large concert programme featuring international and national artists alongside local bands. These include the Vargas Blues Band, fronted by legendary guitarist Jaiver Vargas, to who this year’s festival is dedicated; and Suzete & More, whose musical style combines afrobeat with elements of pop, soul, R&B and urban music.

The Malaga-based group Tabletom is a group which fuses genres such as jazz, reggae and rock with blues. Los Deltonos from Cantabria are also performing.

The fair also offers talks, masterclasses, and training activities. A free children’s workshop on guitar building will be offered to introduce music and craftwork to younger audiences.
