New emails reveal how the hard-hitting journalism of Olive Press shocked world leaders, including disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The Olive Press appeared three times in the three-million files released by the US Department of Justice Friday relating to a late sex offenders, who died while in prison in 2019.
On 15 March 2016, Epstein received an email with the subject ‘EXCLUSIVE: Baron Rothschild indicted in France over fraud case – Olive Press News Spain’ from a redacted sender believed to be Ariane de Rothschild, the CEO of the Edmond de Rothschild Group since March 2023 and the first woman to ever run a Rothschild-branded financial institution.

An exclusive investigation revealed that Baron David de Rothschild, one of Europe’s wealthiest aristocrats, had been indicted in France over a ‘dodgy’ equity release scheme that swindled millions of euros out of hundreds of British expats.
The Spanish law firm Lawbird supported more than 20 British pensioners who sued the bank magnate after they lost their dream homes and tens of thousands of euro through his fraudulent Credit Select Series Home Loan.
The product was targeted at Brits in Spain with properties without mortgages. It was sold to them as a legal way to reduce the property value for inheritance tax purposes.

This allowed them to borrow up to 75 percent of the value their Spanish property, and then invest the proceeds with an insurance firm to generate an income.
The investments failed to perform as promised and left pensioners in a bind, unable pay their mortgages.
After a landmark ruling by a Spanish court in 2020, the revelations sent shockwaves throughout Spain. Rothschild was forced to refund every penny paid by an expat couple.
The bombshell files show that the Olive Press scoop ruffled more than a few feathers.
Epstein sent the email to Kathy Ruemmler. She was a close friend and White House Counsel of US President Barack Obama from 2014 until now.

He added the caption “Well,. “Well, well” is the caption. [sic]”
Only 24 minutes later Ruemmler who had met Epstein dozens of times after he was convicted in 2008 of sexual abuse against a minor, responded: “Whoa”.
The email chain came just five months after Epstein, via his Virgin Islands-registered firm Southern Trust Company Inc., signed a $25 million (€21 million) agreement with the Rothschild Group to provide risk analysis and algorithm-related services.
Over 12,000 documents from the Epstein Files contain a reference to Rothschild Family.
The Epstein Files do not necessarily indicate wrongdoing.

Last year, close associate Ghislaine Maxwell – currently serving a 20-year sentence for recruiting underage girls for Epstein – claimed Lady de Rothschild introduced the paedophile to the former Duke of York, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
King Charles restricted Andrew’s use of titles, peerages, and royal styles in 2025 due to the long-term association he had with a convicted sex criminal.
The Olive Press has crossed paths with Epstein many times before.

This work included three separate visits to New York and Florida in the past 25 years to investigate links between the paedophiles and the British Royal Family, which led to a number exclusives.
Jon even connected President Trump with a number notorious Epstein parties that took place in New York. This information was followed up in 2016 by the New York Times just before he arrived at the White House.
