Happy ending after missing dog in Spain’s Adamuz train disaster is found safe and sound

A happy ending for the missing dog of Spain’s Adamuz disaster train crash.

The dog who went missing following the Adamuz train crash was found on Thursday.

The Infoca forest firefighting crew saw Boro. They took him on a emotional reunion to his owner.

Ana Garcia, 26, and her sister were travelling from Malaga to Madrid on Sunday with Boro and their Iryo train. The tail of Iryo’s train car jumped over the rails. It was then hit by another train traveling in the opposite direction.

BORO’S RETURN

Ana saw Boro as she was helped from the car. He then fled the chaos.

Garcia, the reporter at the time, said: “Please help us find the animal.”

“We were coming home from a family holiday with the little pup, whose family is also mine.”

On social media, thousands of people shared Ana’s plea along with photos of a medium-sized black dog with white eyebrows. He also had a white tuft on his chest.

On Wednesday, a rescue patrol from the animal rights group PACMA allowed access to the accident scene to search for Boro.

A Guardia Civil Officer spotted the dog on the same day, close to the site of the accident. He fled when he was caught.

Ana was informed of the sighting and this gave her hope, before she heard the good news on Boro.
