The Marenostrum Fuengirola concert series has announced an important addition to its 2026 lineup: legendary British electronic act Underworld will share the headline slot with iconic German DJ and producer Sven Väth on August 8. Satisfaxion presents this event that promises to be a highlight of the summer for electronic music enthusiasts on the Costa del Sol.
Underworld and Sven Väth are more than just artists—they represent the soundtrack of a generation that came of age in the early 1990s, when rave culture, acid house, and techno exploded across Europe. Underworld, formed by Karl Hyde and Rick Smith (with Darren Emerson joining for their pivotal mid-90s era), captured the raw energy of the UK rave scene with groundbreaking albums like Dubnobasswithmyheadman (1994) and the era-defining anthem “Born Slippy .NUXX”, famously featured in the film Trainspotting.
