The Spanish weather agency AEMET issued yellow weather alerts Costa Del Sol. The warnings include torrential rain, gale force 7 wind and a gale force 8 wind. (which could achieve speeds of up to 70km/h). Warnings were issued on Friday (12th December) From 12pm to midnight
A total accumulation of rain in the region of 40mm over a period 12 hours is predicted. Thunderstorms can also be expected. Yellow is the lowest of the warning levels.
