The Christmas season begins with a calmer tone
Do you want to have a relaxed and alcohol-free gathering for Christmas? Sober Socials offers the perfect alternative to alcohol with “The Revitaliser”, a free event.
The Revitaliser is a Sunday 21st Dec event that is meant to lift your spirits. Organisers hope the event will provide a moment of calm, before the chaos that is Christmas begins.
The group will meet at Cafe Bora Bora, Carvajal. 9:45am. This event is a combination of a stroll along the Fuengirola seafront, friendly chatter and, for the brave, a refreshing dip into the ocean. The event ends with a warm coffee to give everyone the chance to relax, enjoy good company and recharge.
Everyone is welcome, whether you are sober or just want some fresh air and a more relaxed Christmas celebration. The event is free and coffee is optional.

Sober Socials was created by co-founders Emma Thorne Lees and Louise Hazleden to encourage socialising without alcohol. The co-founders admit that December is a busy month. “The Revitaliser is a chance to take some ‘you time’ with movement, sea air, and connection, and a reminder that it’s OK to slow down before life speeds up.” Participants can look forward to a welcoming, non-judgemental atmosphere that puts connection and wellbeing first.

Sober Socials is already planning ahead for the new year. There will be a few Dry Jan gatherings that offer more chances to meet people, socialize, and have fun without alcohol.
