Panto season at Salón Varietés, Fuengirola: Jack & the Beanstalk


Watch out for some belly laughs and titters, dazzling costumes, and traditional panto mayhem, as it’s Panto season once more at the Salón Varietés, Fuengirola.

This year’s spectacular production, Jack and the Beanstalk, runs from Friday, December 19, until Tuesday 23rd. It then returns on January 2nd to Monday 5th. Jack and the Beanstalk is the spectacular production of this year. It runs from Friday December 19 until Tuesday December 23 and returns again from Friday January 2 until Monday January 5. This classic pantomime sets the tone for the best part of the year. Shows are performed at 7pm and 7.30pm each night, while Sunday shows start at 7pm. On Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, the matinees will take place at 2 pm. Please note that there will be no evening performances on December 20, or January 5.

Jacob Botha, Laura Carter, Jill and the talented Laura Carter, who plays the lead lady, are all part of the show. All eyes will be on panto dames. John Sharples’ performance is one of the most anticipated for any production featuring a dame. Sharples, who will be “a bit saucy” for adults to ensure the show is appealing for all ages but with “not typical” prices, is sure to make the show a hit.

The show’s high-energy is written by Nigel Holmes and directed by Keith Spitalnick. Alexandra Avery choreographs the show. Spitalnick emphasizes that the show isn’t “behind” you.”… it’s coming soon!

The only English-speaking theatre on the coast will present a production that will bring everyone together in pure fun.
