Sleep and diet are closely linked
The relationship between food and sleep has been well-documented. Scientists have proven that the more sleepy you are, the greater your desire for unhealthy food high in fats and sugars. Foods and drinks high in caffeine or sugar will affect your sleep.
The findings of this study show that, although scientists still have a lot to learn about the impact diet has on sleep patterns, further research is needed.
You can easily make dietary changes if you are struggling to meet your recommended intake.
