This weekend, the Clarence Jazz Club in Torremolinos is in full swing. Three nights of live jazz and blues music are on offer.

The club, which is known for an intimate atmosphere, good acoustics, friendly staff and a welcoming environment, has become one the most popular spots to see live music along the Costa del Sol.

Return of jam session

The Jazz Jam Session will kick off the weekend at 10pm on Thursday December 4.


This event will bring together local musicians with visiting artists to explore and improvise in a jazz style that blends classic and contemporary.

The jam session will be filled with dynamic solos and unexpected musical turns.

Swing jazz and traditional jazz

Daniel Sueiro Trio will perform at 10pm on Friday, December 5.

The trio delivers an intimate, polished performance that combines swing and traditional jazz with international flair. The trio’s repertoire includes both original compositions as well as jazz standards. This makes for a great night of jazz music that jazz lovers and beginners alike can enjoy.

Blues and soul

Soft City, a Norwegian band, will perform at 10pm on Saturday 6th December.

Soft City, known for their soulful mix of blues with soul music, guarantees a heartfelt evening filled smooth grooves. Their music bridges effortlessly the gap between the classic and the modern blues. Audiences are left tapping their feet, and immersed by the sound.

Clarence Jazz Club will also be celebrating its 12th Anniversary next week. Highlights of the evening include Andrea Motis, an internationally acclaimed artist.
