Spring is arriving and your daily rhythm is about to change

Your daily rhythm will change as spring arrives

You can sense it.
Winter is slowly dissipating.

The days are becoming longer.
The light seems softer.
The air is changing.

This change always requires something of us, whether we are aware of it or otherwise.

Spring isn’t just a change in weather it’s a change in rhythm.

Winter is a time when life becomes heavier. We wear heavier clothes. We move less. We eat warm meals such as stews, sauces and comfort foods because our bodies need warmth and stability. That’s normal. That’s seasonal.

As spring approaches, this rhythm is no longer appropriate.

We begin to spend more time outside. Jackets remain open. Clothing that is too heavy will be replaced by clothing that is lighter and looser. We become more conscious of our bodies, our movements, our clothing, and our energy levels.

Now is not the moment to panic, or “fix yourself”.
It’s a moment to adapt.

Spring is a natural transition in Mediterranean cultures. The meals become lighter and easier to prepare. Winter stews gradually disappear and make space for food that is cooked. a la planchaNot because someone decided to eat less, but because the body no longer needs heavy fuel. Not because you decided to eat fewer calories, but rather because your body is no longer in need of heavy fuel.

You will feel the benefits of this eating style immediately. It is easier to digest. Energy improves. The blood sugar level becomes more stable. You feel lighter, not deprived. Then there is daylight. The nights are becoming longer. The sun remains with us. The sun stays with us.

You can enjoy this. you need energy, not exhaustion.

Spring is a time when structure becomes more important. Schedules that are not rigid but anchored by gentle anchors. Regular meals. Move around during the day. Time outside. After eating, take a short walk. Small habits can help you feel energized and not tired as the day progresses.

The natural shifts also happen in the movement. Less indoor routines, more outdoor life. Walking. Cycling. Swimming. Swimming. Movement stops being something you “do” and becomes something you live.

Mediterranean lifestyle is built around this seasonal rhythm. You don’t live in the same way every day. You adapt. You listen. When you move with the seasons, rather than against them, spring feels refreshing, not overwhelming.

It’s not necessary to reinvent oneself.
It is not necessary to change the clothes with each season.

This is how you can arrive in spring with more energy, feeling lighter and more ready to enjoy longer days.

 Mediterranean Tips for Spring

  • Lighten up your meals naturally
  • Replace stews with salads, grilled fish and vegetables
  • Walking daily is important, particularly after meals
  • Spend more time in daylight
  • Create a simple structure that supports longer days
  • You should only move when it feels good.

A gentle next step

It’s not necessary to go it alone.

Some people start with personal coaching, to create a calm structure around food, movement and daily rhythm.
Others start with movement, like walking or golf, which combines fresh air, focus and natural movement in a very Mediterranean way.
