MALAGA Airport denied reports of bedbug infestations after a viral video was posted showing insects crawling up pillars and wall inside the terminal.
The video, which was circulated on social media over the weekend, caused alarm because it was connected to a recent bedbug outbreak at Madrid-Barajas Airport.
Malaga Airport, however, insists there is no infestation of this kind on its premises.

The CCOO union at Aena has also raised concerns about the growing number of homeless people in the airports, particularly in the passenger terminals and transit areas.
The public may have become more fearful of bedbugs because of this.
