Luka Modric, a club icon and one of its most iconic players is preparing to depart from the Spanish capital in the summer.
The 39-year old Croatian sent a farewell message before his final La Liga match in the famed white shirt.

Modric will play one last time for ‘Los Blancos’ at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on May 25, when Real Madrid host Real Sociedad in their closing fixture of the 2024/25 La Liga season.

Modric, once seen as the face Real Madrid’s policy to renew players over 30 on one-year contracts is now on a new path. The club has stated that it is time to move on.
