Parasols, umbrellas or both this weekend? The flowers are blooming, the chill has gone and spring is finally here.

It’s time to go outside, breathe in some fresh air and get moving as we prepare for the beach. Right?

Wrong! The weather has other ideas as we face yet another ‘orange’ alert. The alert has been issued by the Malaga and Costa del Sol provinces for Thursday 20th March. Light cloud cover is forecast for the day, which will be pleasant. However, by 6pm Southern Spain can expect strong winds, heavy rain and thunder storms. There is also a ‘yellow’ warning for choppy seas.

Be careful where you park your car, as flood risks are high. Rains will continue to fall throughout Friday and into early Saturday. Martinho, the delightful black cloud, has now joined Jana, Konrad, and Lawrence in making landfall on Galicia’s northwest coast.
