WATCH: French tourists who are clueless ask Lamine Yamil to take their photos

Lamine Yamal (17), a Spanish football sensation and one of the world’s best players, is not new to taking photos with his fans.

What he might be less accustomed to, however, is being asked to take photos of others – as happened whilst the youngster was eating out in Barcelona last week.

In a widely-shared video on social media, female restaurant goers politely asked Yamal for a picture, unaware that their photographer is one of the most promising prospects in football.

The silky winger was happy to oblige, and remained anonymous.

Even he gave a fake identity to hide his true identity.

One of the women wearing a leather jacket and a black dress asked in English, “Excuse you, what’s your name?”

“Ryan,” Yamal replied. “And in real life?Yamal replied that Ryan was his name.

Yamal then took his photo duties and handed the phone to the women.

This act of humility was performed just a few days after Barcelona had been knocked out from the Champions League by Inter Milan following an epic 7-6 aggregate loss in a two leg affair that has been widely described as the most exciting in the history of the competition.

Inter will now face PSG in Europe’s most coveted tournament’s final. This defeat is a blow to Yamal’s chances of becoming the youngest winner of the Ballon D’or – the award that annually crowns the best footballer in the world. Bookmakers currently give him a 7/2 chance of winning the award.

His team made amends on Sunday by defeating Real Madrid in an exciting edition of El Clasico 4-3.

Xabi Alono, the departing Bayer Leverkusen coach, will replace Carlo Ancelotti as Real Madrid’s legendary manager in the summer.

Real Madrid started the game in a supersonic way, as Kylian Mbappe scored two goals to silence the Montjuic crowd.

Barcelona scored four goals in the first half, including two from Raphinha, and one from Yamal.

Mbappe’s goal was not good enough to spark a comeback. Barcelona, on the verge to end Real’s La Liga defence, is poised to take the trophy from Real and return it to Catalunya.

Hansi Flick’s team now has a seven-point lead over the champions, with only three matches left.
