This is the moment a bull charged and threw a bull runner during a traditional event of bull running in southern Spain.
This incident took place on Easter Sunday. Toro Embolao in Vejer de la Frontera, a town in the province of Cadiz, when a bull named ‘Orensano’ – weighing 490 kg – collided with a runner on Calle Alta.
The animal fell onto the man before he could even get up.

The man was seriously injured and was carried to an ambulance by passers-by.
The shocking video shows the moment when the runner was thrown against a wall and the frantic attempts to rescue him.
The bull then ran away from the chaos, down the street, to escape the commotion.
The man was taken by helicopter, due to his severe condition, to the Puerta Del Mar Hospital in Cadiz.
The current state of his health has been described by doctors as severe, with a cautious prognosis.
Orensano was the most aggressive of three bulls released on the route between San Miguel district to La Plazuela.
It is important to note that the word “you” means “you”. Toro Embolao Vejer’s narrow and winding streets are a popular Easter destination for both locals, as well tourists.

A woman was seriously injured and at least two others hurt after the 570 kg bull, called ‘Vaporoso’, broke through safety barriers on Saturday.
The footage shared online shows chaotic scenes with people being knocked on the ground, screaming and shouting as the bull entered the spectator’s area.
The injured woman tried to get up but was unable to do so as the animal gored her while she lay on the floor.
A Guardia Civil officer applied a tourniquet to her leg after she suffered a severe goring that had reached the femoral arterial.
She is now recovering after being operated on at the hospital.
Two more people were injured, including minor fractures due to the crowd’s rush.
Several children, and even some elderly people, were also behind the fences when the incident happened.
Miguel Rodriguez, mayor of the town, insists that the fence had been thoroughly checked before.
“This is not normal, but it can happen in any arena,” he said.
The Town Hall strengthened the fence with additional chains to prevent any further accidents.
The mayor pointed out that despite the seriousness of the incident, there was ‘no major tragedy’ to regret.
