Anneleen Lenaerts is a celebrated Belgian Harpist. She is principal harpist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a member at the Vienna State Opera. On Tuesday 25th February, she will perform in the Convent Ballroom of Gibraltar. Lenaerts is described as a “virtuoso on her instrument” by The New York Times. She will be performing music by Mozart Wagner and Korngold.
This show is organized by the Gibraltar Philharmonic Society and will demonstrate why the talented young musician has been hailed as one of leading soloists on her instrument.
She has also performed as a solist with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. The Mozarteum Orchestra. and the Philadelphia Chamber Orchestra in venues such the Wigmore Hall London, Carnegie Hall New York and Salle Gaveau Paris.
Tickets are 22 pounds for the recital that starts at 8pm (limited numbers of student and senior citizen tickets are also available at 10 pounds). They can be purchased at the John Mackintosh Hall on Main Street or at www.philharmonic.gi
