VE Day celebration, Estación de Cártama

The Andalucía Performing Arts Society (T.A.P.A.S.), which is based in Alhaurín El Grande, is known for its highly regarded international choir and varied programme of excellent music shows. Every year, the Society hosts a number of popular social events.

T.A.P.A.S. On Saturday, May 10, we will celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the End of Hostilities in Europe at the Estacion de Cartama from 4pm-7pm. This event will be a 1940s Tea Party with music and songs of the time. The event will include a quiz and tea with delicious homemade cake.

T.A.P.A.S. T.A.P.A.S. Betty Ross and Ken Ross are the event organizers and hosts. They want the party to be an exciting celebration of 1945, the start of a new age of hope and peace in Europe. The 40’s costumes and dresses are optional but the best dressed will receive a prize.
