The annual Fallas festivities in VALENCIA City reach a climax on Wednesday night with the crema ceremony, which involves the burning of ninots.
The ninots made from wood and papier-mache feature many satirical turns on international names such as Donald Trump(a Fallas fave) and billionaire Elon Musk.
Following the October flood disaster in Spain, regional politicians, such as Valencian president Carlos Mazon and Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez are receiving ninot treatments this year.

The sculptures, which can reach up to 20 metres in height, were made by local artists representing districts of the city.
Some of the structures were built using items that had been destroyed in local homes.
They’ll be a total loss tonight, despite all the hard work that went into making them and displaying them at Valencia’s Arts and Science Museum.
Fallas began in the 18th Century and concludes on the regional bank holiday that honours Valencia’s patron saint, San Jose.
It was classified by UNESCO in 2016 as an event ‘intangible cultural heritage’.
