THE State Meteorological Agency Aemet has issued a warning for rain and storms in some parts of Valencian Community on Friday. This is ahead of another heatwave that will begin early next week.
Yellow warnings are issued for the interior southern part of the province of Castellon and the northern area of the province of Valencia.
Lightning and strong winds are predicted to accompany heavy rain of 20 mm per hours.

Aemet states that the worst of weather is expected to occur between 6pm-10pm with a peak around 7pm.
The warning will continue to be active until 11.59pm.
Although the weather will be indifferent in the interior, storms are possible in coastal areas.
Early forecasts indicate that temperatures will rise significantly from Monday, with highs exceeding 40C in areas in the Valencian Community’s south and interior.
In the interior of Alicante province and Valencia, as well as in the precoastal valleys around Castellon and Alicante, the most affected areas will be. On the coast we can expect tropical and torrid weather.
Aemet warns that the intensity of the heat wave could be affected by the development of a warm, warm front from North Africa. This is driven westward by a DANA.
If it became a reality, several days would be spent in temperatures above the average.
