The Policia Nacional has searched a DENTAL clinic located in Alzira after a 6-year-old girl died after she was put under anaesthesia on Thursday.
A four-year old girl was treated at the hospital for fever, vomiting and drowsiness all on the same day.
Wednesday was the day that a search of Clinica Dental Mireia’s premises took place.

According to sources from Ministry of Health, the clinic provides dentistry for children. However, its qualified staff is not authorized to perform intravenous sedation. Las Provincias newspaper.
The Policia Nacional will investigate whether the two girls were given an overdose of anaesthetic.
The anaesthetist, who was interviewed by the police last weekend before meeting representatives of the Health Services Inspection Service, gave a written statement to them.
Las Provincias Reports stated that police officers were searching for the substance used to anaesthetize patients and any documentation relating to its traceability.
The six-year old victim was admitted just before 5pm, last Thursday at the Hospital de la Ribera Alzira.
After being treated at Mireia Clinic in the morning, she was in cardiorespiratory collapse.
The doctors were unable resuscitate the woman and an autopsy was unable to determine what caused her death.
A girl of 4 years old, who was treated at the same clinic, went to the hospital ER a couple of hours before.
She was transferred to Valencia’s Clinical Hospital ICU and a few weeks later, she was moved to a general hospital where her recovery continues.
